Annual Christmas Concert 2015

A Truly Forest Affair brought the Christmas Spirit tonight to Lydney Town Hall for the Bands' Annual Christmas Concert. The band under the baton of Chris Howley played a fabulous varied programme including traditional festive music and the Forest of Dean Male Voice Choir, in superb form, under the direction of Tracey Gwynne accompanied by Hayley Marangon entertained the appreciative audience. The evening culminated in a rousing joint number of "A christmas Festival" by Gordon Langford, the choir singing the carols, with sympathetic accompaniment by the band. The band would like to thank Chris for all his hard work, the guys in the choir (including their ladies, Tracey and Hayley) and most of all, thank you to all our supporters for attending tonight, It Truly was a Fantastic Forest Affair.
