The band have had a busy year of engagements and have just been crowned Gloucestershire Brass Band Association Champions after winning both the March Competition and the Own Choice Test Piece Click Here for details and listen to our performance.
The band would like to thank everyone who attended our annual Christmas concert at Lydney Town Hall on Sunday 11th December. If you missed it you can hear Stabat Mater by clicking the link on the left. This was our popular opening set featuring Merv Porter on Euphonium for the beautifully scored Lament
Forest of Dean Brass welcome applications from all Brass players to help strengthen our ranks for the upcoming contest season.
We are particularly interested in applications from Bass Euphonium or Cornet players.

Saturday the 14th May saw the band take part in a concert at the Newland Church in aid of The Foresters Forest. The culmination of the concert was a premier performance of Union for Band Choir and Narrator telling the story of the 1902 Union mine disaster.
